Hi there, I have installed VCL2.2 and 2.3 and I don't see any options in the Delphi 2005 interface as described in the online web pages. Can someone help, when I try to open the demo projects I get messages saying components don't exist.

Hi Jason,

Add-in Express from version 2.2 build 215 supports Delphi 2005. Please make sure you have downloaded ADX version 2.3 Public Preview and try to install it again. Please make sure you have checked the "Delphi 2005 Units" option on page 5 of the installation wizard. Note, if you have Delphi 2005 with Update 3 installed please contact us directly via email, we will give you a link to the Add-in Express that supports this Delphi update.

ok seems to work better, one thing though.

I have added a TPostItem, and if I set the AutoConnect property to TRUE then when i try to Register ActiveX Server, I get "Unspcified Error" is this correct behaviour?

In fact this seems to happen fairly frequently not just with TPostItem, and sometimes all it takes is that I close Delphi and then reopen Delphi and it works, sometimes.

Hi Jason,

I have just created and debugged a simple add-in with the TPostItem component and I see an exception in the TPostItem.Connect -> TOleServer.GetServer method. I have tried to do the same with a simple application and see the same exception. So, you can't set the AutoConnect property to true. If you need the TPostItem component try to connect it through the code.

I'd just like to thank Dmitry for his excellent and speedy response to my problem with my Delphi 2005 installation.

It's nice to see such great support for products, especially when under the gun to deliver the project.

Thanks again, Dmitry!
