Hi,

After reading the articles on MSDN about shims, I agree with you that shims are very important but if I'm using VSTO, I guess that means I won't be able to create C++ shims. Is that correct? Thanks.

Hi.

As far as I know VSTO based applications are shimmed by default. Therefore there is no need to create your own shim.
