- How to create smart Microsoft Word templates :: This is older. I was rummaging around my digital “bucket” of Newswire-worthy news items and thought this poor guy has been overlooked. Content Controls should not be overlooked.
- Managing your Microsoft Outlook 2010 calendar :: I’ll take all the help I can get. I have my system and it is mature. But, it requires constant tweaking and experimenting. Calendar nirvana remains an unattainable goal but I’ll keep trying. I bet you learn something if you read this item.

Office developer items of note
- JavaScript API object model maps updated for attachment support in mail apps! :: I realize that Apps for Office will continue to improve. As I stated earlier this week… I like the idea of Apps for Office. But I’m not happy with the current version. I take this new features as a positive sign. It’s a small step forward.
- Can I keep using my free Office 365 Developer Account? :: Yes but it will not remain free. The free ride is over folks.
- Visio for developers :: I am very pleased with Visio 2013. It has a lot of cool new and updated features. This is a link to the Visio developer center which is filled with new content for Office developers.
- App designs in SharePoint 2013 :: Three models exist for Apps for SharePoint. As you can surmise, there are pros and cons aplenty. Scot Hiller provides a map to guide you.
